Hmmmm....I think I need to change things up a bit...I'm re-writing this because, well, how else am I supposed to find "The One" if I don't tell you about all the activities I enjoy (that's sarcasm, btw). To be honest, I'm not convinced anything I write here will tell you what I'm really made of. What's it mean to simply state I like golf, love my family, enjoy watching sports, working out, and walks on the beach(all true, btw :-))? I think its just as meaningfull to tell you what I'm NOT: a cheater, a deadbeat, a fake, a loser, or a mental case. I don't talk simply to hear myself talk and I don't incessantly complain about life and all the bs that affects me.
So maybe the real insight is to tell you things like the following...(which are ALL very true)...I like the calmness of the lake early in the morning. I love the poem 'The Sound of Trees' by Robert Frost. I like challenging myself and trying to live a life that my sons would respect and show pride toward. I like trying new things even when Im anxious about it. Oh, and daydreaming of summer!

Oh boy!?! Writing about myself is not my normal cup of tea but let's give a go.

I am a very tall and active professional that enjoys the new and different, trying the exotic and has never met a stranger. Friends say that my sense of humor and passion are my two best traits. I try to do right by others and truly believe that "we get what we give". A recent quote that I heard really struck a chord..."we cannot control the wind but we can set our course".

I travel a good deal for work and am not looking for someone to pack my bag or make my lunch...looking more for a partnership where we compliment each other but don't necessarily "complete" each other. Completion in my opinion, comes from within.
